7.5. Remote Terminal Power Supply Module (RtPSM)

Overview

The Remote Terminal Power Supply Module (RtPSM) provides ring

power for remote FXS, and FXS-P. If the COT has FXS, FXS-P

modules installed, an RtPSM module will need to be installed upon the

same Shelf as well.

An additional RtPSM can be installed on the same shelf, to provide 1+1

power redundancy support.

and fuse status.



Circuit protection for low input voltage and output over currents

Over current protection for input and output interfaces.



Automatic protection against over-temperature occurrence.



Test connection port located on the Front Panel.

RtPSM shall be used as the Power supply in those shelves that

FXS/FXS-P are installed for the RING voltage generation.
